First of all, the reason in boot camp they will yell at you is not because you need to ignore them, it will teach you discipline and focus.
What you need to be able to do physically is to be able to do 75 push ups, within two minutes, then 75 sit ups within the same time frame. Afterwards, you have to be able to run 1.5 miles under 10 minutes after you finish the push ups and the situps with only 45 seconds to rest. This is for your PRT of physical readiness test, if you fail to do this they will set you back in bootcamp.
Now, there will be a time at the end of your training call hell week or something, here you will have to be able to run 3 miles within 30 minutes, oh one more thing, just like the guy above me said, better knows how to do pull ups.

I would like to say first thank you, for wanting to serve our country. there are three things you need to work on sit up, pull up and 3 mile run you have to be able to run 3 miles in 28min but try to do it in 18min and really work on pull ups the max is 20 and sit up when I was in you had to do 80 in 2 min but they have change that so ask someone. good luck.

the other answers are right however I would like to say this, learn to sit indian style for hours on end. you will be doing that alot during out of classroom instruction in the squad bay. know how to shine a pair of boots, learn to eat quickly. Bootcamp is 90% mental and 10% physical.

Those other answers were great, by people with experience, I just thought I’d add this: My husband’s friend went backpacking in the mountains to train, his back pack held rocks, for weight, and he didn’t "hike" -he ran. That should build endurance. Also, for my brother, his recruiter took him into the mountains as well, hiking and jogging along the steep trails. This answer probably wasn’t exactly what you were looking for, but I hope it helps. :)

You have everything down, just don’t forget sit-ups. If you get good at pull-ups and running you might want to add weight. You can buy a weighted vest for the pull-ups and ankle weights for the running. Your recruiter should have some tips for you.
