You know how U.S. Marine Corps boot camp graduation is this big graduation ceremony and your family members are there and everybody that is special to you is there? Is U.S. Army boot camp graduation like that? Do you get ten days of leave after Army boot camp graduation like you do in the marines? Or do you go straight to your MOS training? What happens right after Army boot camp graduation?

was strange lol, in the head. they brought them in one at a time to beatr them up to try to make them square their act away. one recruit was knocked out in the head and carried back to his rack and the squad leaderes covered him up like he was asleep when he was knocked out. the funny part is, there were two black guys from california who were friends. the squad leaders called one of them to come in the head(bathroom). they both told the squad leaders that if ANYONE of them put a hand on either of the two friends, they better sleep with one eye open! the two black friends SCARED the squad leaders and told the squad leaders that if they look at them wrong the squad leaders would end up in sickbay. those two black guys were tough! those two guys breezed thru boot camp after they told the squad leaders that. this is just the small picture of how the Marine Corps uses intimidation to scare recruits and yuoung Marines. my question is for NCOs, how would u have handle the two black friends?

im a 20year old healthy male, i leave for boot camp in San Diego on June 22nd next month. So far i can do 13 pull ups, 50 situps, 40 push ups and can run a mile and a half in 10 minutes. I would like this question to be answerd by Marines, What type of workouts should i work on, what do most of the workouts in the Marines consist of, should i start running with a back pack full of weights up a hill and do all kinds of pullups and situps and push ups or what, please give me all the advise possible so i can make a workout routine that will get me prepared for Boot camp. And how hard was Marine Boot Camp? is it almost to the point of being impossible?

Please only answer if you are in the Marines or Army and you know for sure.
Do people going in to the Army or Marines as an officer go to Basic Training or Boot Camp with enlisted recruits or is it seperate?

Also is ears open, eyeballs click (Marine Corps Boot camp documentary) accurate, I have heard it is a softy documentary about boot camp.

The Few the Proud the Marines

Hi Im joining the USMC and I have a couple of questions, Marines with Infantry MOS get 17 days of leave after boot camp or the regular 10 days? I ask because one of my buddys got 17 days when he came back from Parris Island.

The other question I have is can Marines go overseas during their leave? I ask because pretty much my entire family lives in Venezuela and Id like to go visit for a few days after boot….
