I am in a pissy tonight and I just want to get it off my chest to tell you what you need to do to get ready for Marine Corps Boot Camp. I am so tired of all that we are told we have to do to be politically correct. I am sick and tired of being told how we need to live our lives. We can say this about the gay person or we can’t say that against a Muslim and we can’t make a joke about the white kid or the black kid. I am so sick of all of that because it has zero bearing on what it takes to prepare for Marine Corps Boor Camp.
If you are planning to become a Marine and are looking at what your future holds for you, then you just better get all of that crap out of your system now. In the public school system our youth is taught that you do not have to finish first to be a success. Bull! If you want to become a Marine you will need to take all of that crap and stuff it where the sun does not shine. In boot camp there is no place for 2nd place. In the Corps you train like you fight and 2nd place just means you are first dead. 
There is NO color in The Corps. There are no black Marines and there are no white Marines, we are all just Marines. If you decide you need free speech and want to denounce our nation, then go join some other branch. The Marine Corps is not a place that accepts wimpy people and it does not accept unmotivated losers. Sure you may gain admittance to boot camp, but your time at camp will be short lived. The Marine Corps is not a place where you can be an individual and be able to express yourself.
- If you want to be a homo, that is cool, the Corps defends that right, but stay out of our Corps, they do not want you. You don’t like that…..too bad.
- If you want to smoke pot, that is cool, but stay away from our Corps, we don’t want you.
- You want to be fat, that cool, we won’t take you.
- You want to be anti-America, our Corps does not want you, so stay away.
- You want to be a Muslim, The Corps really could care less, just don’t start anything radical. The same applies for Catholics too, the Muslims are not special, so why you asking?
- You can’t kill another human, then go away. The Corps wants to know that you will kill when called upon.
- You want freedom of speech, the Corps will tell you to shut your pie-hole.
- You don’t want to run, jump and exercise, then The Corps don’t want your fat ass either.
The United States Marine Corps is not a place where you can come and express your views or your beliefs. The Corps does not care. Push aside all of the glitz and the glamour of The Corps because there is nothing sexy about crawling through the insect infested jungles or crossing the hot oceans of sand in the Middle East. The Corps demands you be in top shape because you may be called upon to be a super human. Your job will be first and foremost to defend America. If that means you have to kill, then you kill. If that means you have to leave your family, then so be it.
If that means you must get killed in combat, then you will do that also. There is not time in The Corps for wimps or focus groups or an meeting to gather opinions. The Corps is ALL about learning to take away from the enemy that which you desire for yourself. The Corps will demand nothing but the best from you and anything less will cause you to fail.
If you are thinking about joining The Corps then you better be ready for what is coming. Marine Corps Boot Camp will kick you right between the emotional eyeballs if you do not prepare. If you are serious about joining The Corps then you better get your butt in gear and get ready for the ride of your life. You better stuff the excuses and forget the words “I can’t” because your Drill Instructor will have no patience for them. If you want to join The United States Marine Corps they really do not accept applications, only commitments. If you can’t commit to what is said above, maybe you are not ready to be a Marine.
