ohh, so they cant i personally think they should be able to, cause my uncle was in AUSTRALIAN army and his mate was being smart and the drill instructor punched him in the gut and slapped his face, but i guess that what u get for being smart, they should be ble to that for like dicpline and to toughen u up dont u think??
not just that my uncle says they like wanna break and crush ur spirit and just reck you and then like rebuild you to become a strong,fit and well deicpline and highley trained soldier, cause come to think of it you really wouldnt want pussies and smartasses in your like unit or something cause as my uncle says if shit hits the fan he doesnt want them covering his ass!!lol
@fnovax
intimidate is not really a good word, they are taught basic drill commands, discipline, physical fitness, (also for those basic commands, they make you recite those commands before you can move on). You dont learn about yelling. The Drill Instructors arent just yelling at you the whole time. Its about motivation, self confidence, selflessness. They yell to make sure you understand what there saying and that you can handle stress. Being a DI is harder than Full Metal Jacket shit…
@usmcsdi69
No what do u maen, i just got curious, i didnt mean any thing by what i said, i just was wondereing casue i was gonna ask what is it like being a marine, and just wanna be clear what do u mean when u said, are you fuckin with me or something? i am not trying to a be a smartass or a dik head or any ting like that, but u sounded like i said something rong, so sorry if i did?
Semper Fi. I would do it all over again if I could. Alot of people don’t understand the yelling and screaming because they have never been through this. For all those that talk down about Marine Corps training and how we are formed into the most elite fighting for the world has to offer, spend one day in the life of a Marine Corps recruit and see if it doesn’t change your life and your outlook on who we are and what we do.
No offense but DIs will strike you as long as the SDI is not around they will mess with you hardcore. When the Senior is away the Drill Instructors shall play! Been through that & to this day still have the imprint of my M16A2 service rifle imprinted on my calf from me “snatching” my weapon from the floor before my DI decided to throw it across the deck.
Did he fuck recruits up?
are drill instructor aloud to hit u if u dont do what ur told and shit or can they only verbaly abuse you??
Ha…2nd batallion…

Only a coward would hit a defenseless recruit who would normally NOT fight back. Trust me kid…. the mental games are far worse than the physical ones~

The picture is of me… the video is of me and I was a Marine in the US Marine Corps for 10 years. Are you fucking with me or something?
