Advice for ANY boot camp. Don’t be the best, don’t be the worst, don’t be memorable. But oddly enough, do volunteer for something, like honor guard or band, or whatever they have like that. The time that I was at honor guard, was also the time they were tearing up the barracks. Adversely, do not put yourself in a position to lead something(see don’t be memorable).
Keep your mouth shut, and remember to say this recruit, yes sir, no sir, aye aye sir. your going to think why the fu** did i sign up for this during boot camp. everyone does, its just that ones that dig deep inside of them to find out that they truly wanted this
need to return to the basics for this. stand up straight, keep your mouth shut, and do what you are told. this will be your first instruction, but many will need to be reminded several times. don’t be one of those.
yeah get plenty of sllep before you go because after you leave meps plan on being up once you get there for 36 hrs
prepair to get yelled at and questioned on everything you go over,ATD:attention to detail,keep your eyes open and your mouth shut.You will be fine.
