seriously p90x is a load of bullsh1t. its just another exercise video. save the money, buy a gym membership and just do it on your own. seriously everything made my beachbody isn’t worth it.
work on your endurance, cardio, running, etc and you’ll be fine, no need to waste your money on this. if you really want to go to the gym, get a membership and do weight training.
I’m pretty sure its a much more rounded workout than just running and pushups. When I first started it I could barely get through one workout, even with modifying the workouts, and I considered myself in shape (I run cross country every fall). But I can now do a pull up, and I can do more crunches and get through the workouts. It has helped my running, although I don’t usually feel the burn in my lungs as much as I do when I run. I haven’t been to bootcamp yet, but it will definitely get you in better shape than you started if you follow the plan and give it everything you have. And when you pay that much for it, how could you not?
Yes it is, but remember to focus and I mean FOCUS on your cardio (running), Crunches (sit ups) and Pull ups (upper body), You will be doing this the most in bootcamp…trust me!
P90x doesn’t prepare you for combat but, the marine corp will. P90X is for overweight civilians like myself who want to get in reasonably good shape. P90X will do that. The Marine corp will also do that, but at 53 I can’t be in the Marine Corp. Thanks for serving and protecting my freedom.
