I just wanted to see if anyone knew how long the wait was for 03XX field. I hope it is a short wait because I am dropping out of college and joining and I don’t want to be sitting around for a year. Thanks 
And I have not talked to a recruiter yet but will do it in the next couple of days. Please give an estimate if everything goes well with meps and all. I know you cannot be certain, but please give an educated guess. thanks.

I just enlisted in the USMC last week under an open contract I ship Nov 15. When I was talking to Gunny a friend of mine before I went to MEPS he said the wait could be up to a year long. Anyways unless if your in great shape you prob want as much time to get in the best shape youve ever been in, Ive been working out with my recruiter he has me on some killer workouts. Talk to your recruiter and mention youd like to leave sooner if a spot opens up for an earlier ship date he might give it to you
