I’m about to leave to Marine Corps Recruit Training Feb 2010 and I want to be promoted to Lance Corporal E-3, I should be leaving PFC E-2 before I get there. How and what all do I need to be a guide and the best guide of the company to graduate Company Honor man. My goal is to leave recruit training an e-3. thanks Semper Fi USMC

Its really simple.
Score higher on the PFT than anyone else.
Qualify higher on the rifle range than anyone else.
Score higher on every test, than anyone else.
Pass inspections better than anyone else.
March better than anyone else.
IE: be better than everyone else in your Company.
Actually you do not have to be number 1 in everything, but you have to be near the top in everything
You don’t have the right to say Semper Fi yet.
