About to head to the range I believe.
I don’t think so. When I went to bootcamp back in 95 this is when the recruits first get their M16A2 rifles then they keep them throughout their trining cycle…thy need to practice drill with them. So I would say if I remember is 1st phase. Man I miss that shit!!!

This isn’t first phase…second phase I believe…and I do believe we are about to head to the rifle range…this is November Co. PLT 4013…

Actually im pretty sure this is plt 4008 and plt 4009 my plts the timing is right 2nd phase and our ditties and Drill instructors too> lol im just saying
There is no way you can tell what platoon this is.
I will make a guess that this is first phase training, very early first phase training. The reason is all the DI’s running around. There are both male and female DI’s and many more DI’s than a platoon would normally have. That is indicative of early first phase training.
The location is very easy. They are in front of receiving because it is easy to see the yellow footprints. There is only one place that has them.
This is my training plt 4013 November company. Awe I miss my kill hat and my senior.

i still LOVE my drill instructors from bootcamp 3 1/2 yrs ago!
Its strange how nobody hates them, since they yell at you. But I haven’t been to boot yet.
@MetaKittie no one hates them because they are not yelling at you because they hate you, it’s nothing personal, it’s their job.
Of all the Marines I served with, I have the highest esteem for my Drill Instructors. Drill Instructor Sgt. Thomas from Forming Mob, to Drill Instructor Sgt. Johnson in Pork Chop Platoon (I couldn’t get just one more sit up in my IST), to Senior Drill Instructor Sgt. Simington, Drill Instructor SSgt. Frye, Drill Instructor Sgt. Cohen, and Drill Instructor Sgt. Milks. They were all mean mother scratchers, but truly some of the finest Marines I’ve served with.

female kill hats are way worse. i dont know what it is But, the male di’s look like a BIG effing JOKE like…women di’s will get in your face and make you wanna cry but if i heard abunch eyes balls ears open click in that voice that is going out id proble have skated through bootcamp with no problem. As much as i hate di’s They did a GOOD job breaking me down and Made my life a living Hell…they are crazier then the Psychotics who goto prison for life…i dont know what it is though.

well a drill instructor told me (not mine) said that, if they pick on you it’s because they see potential and or see something in you, so they play a huge mind game on you the entire way through. that happened to me. i was confused the whole time i felt liek a worthless scum ball who wanted to go home..but really, i figure i was just an eye catcher and easy to pin point and spot..i didnt wanna be bored for 3 months so i was always looking around online.
LOL..one of my drill instructors use to make fun of this girl cus she kept looking at the DI with her”beady little eyes” shti was so funny….i held my bearing for 2 months..but the 3rd month i started laughing outa nowhere. and it’s sad but the rest of the girls on line would be like Stop laughing then my name..recruits wana get the attn offthem onto soemone else. oh well. i hated it but i msis it, is nt that weird..f that palce tho..lol
