I’ve only been able to find information that mcrd san diego has graduation books, I can’t find anything on parris island. Does anyone know if parris island also has graduation books? Any information would be appreciated.

Hello, I’m not sure what it is that you are asking about. If someone attends and graduates from boot camp at either PI or SD they will get a graduation book, platoon photo etc. If you are searching for a graduation book from years past you may be able to get one from SD but the years are limited. I don’t think PI offers this as you state. Some guys have scanned and posted their graduation books from years past on various websites and you will have to try google on specific platoon, year, company etc. They do exist somewhere. Hope this helps.

PI has grad books, I still have mine and my late brothers.
My cousin went through parris island and did not receive a graduation book, so unfortunately, no they do not.
Most military boot camps have some type of graduation. What you must understand is that MCRD San Diego is the model for the Corps. All the photography is done here, Any outdoor recruitment advertisements are done here in San Diego This probably is because the weather is so good and the city gets so many free tourist dollars. When you think of San Diego is a city but you don’t think of much when you think of Parris Island. Keep Looking
Brandon…your response is wrong. I went to boot camp at Parris Island in July of 1999. I received and still have my graduation book. If you cousin didn’t get one he probably didn’t order one. I had to order and pay for mine. The same thing goes for your boot camp photos.

I am a Marine and do not have any of my bootcamp photos left. I graduated from Parris Island in February 1991. I was in platoon 2021 Fox Company. Is there any way at all to get a copy of my graduation photo of me in my dress blues? PLease help!!!!
anybody out there that was in force motivation in the summer of 1973 ,i was there for perment mot. 30 days , it was pretty rough
but it was the best thing and most exciting of all my experince
in the corps and it made me extraordinary in my job as an 0311
regular boot camp was tough enough but motivation platoon was the hardest thing i have ever done and compleated in my life, i give
credit to this as i have survived many heart attacks and i m still here and still very motivated. there is a lot more to GET ON LINE ! then most marines will ever know ! semper fi

Paris Island did have yearbooks when I graduated boot camp in 1966.
I unfortunately lost mine and am trying to find a way to get a copy from Paris Island. My platoon was 3036 graduated 3 august 1966. Can anyone help.

I graduated from PI in 1958 Platoon 220 and still have my graduation book. I would share my copy but it would be rather costly to have copied and reproduced.
