Nope just a photo ID, social security card, and the clothes on your back, unless your MOS is motor T or MP, im pretty sure those are the only 2 MOS that you need to have a license prior to shipping.

  • Internet Gangstarr:

im going to boot in october and my license is suspended for not paying insurance. and since i didnt pay insurance my car isnt registered anymore either.

but i still drive, and im still going to boot camp.

WTF DID I GET A THUMBS DOWN FOR?
EDIT: there is an MOS to drive HMMWV’s
not just anyone can drive them…
well you could, but not legally.

  • Paradox:

A driver’s license? No. I mean, if you lost if for a DUI, etc, that’s a whole other problem, but you don’t have to get it in the first place.

  • wckc2002:

The military has their own humvee licenses.

  • darkcloud14:

They would teach you how to drive humvees "n ****""

But no matter what you do in life, I would think it’d be helpful to know how to drive a car.

Actually my lil poolee, there is no hmmwv driver mos. Anyone can drive them if they take the hmmwv drivers course.

  • Mr Cranky:

your not going to be driving humvees in boot camp.
And you need a military drivers license to drive those anyways. Not something you can pick up at your local DPS office.
