A group of us took at tour of Parris Island, SC where they make Marines. It was organized for depot spouses and authorized patrons only. I am one of the lucky retired Marines that got to go on it. It was a very interesting tour which took us to the famous “Yellow Footprints, Receiving Barracks, a recruit squad bay, confidence course, The Crucible, and the chow hall for lunch. It was a great time and very informative. I have 14 videos of it to post. I hope you enjoy them.

I must admit that I am a 50 years old guy that never heard of Katy Perry before….but all of that changed when I saw the video about her being abused, or cheated on by her boyfriend.  It was not until I saw the wretched liberal media whining about how Katy Perry made a video that “encourage” women to join the Marine Corps.  It was not until I saw all the talking heads saying it was time to boycott her work and stop buying her music.  As soon as I heard that, I just knew it was time to jump in and see what it was all about because I have learned that the best way to run is AWAY from whatever I am being told about on the national media outlets.  For the first time in years I have to thank the media for introducing me to Katy Perry.  SHE ROCKS!

I pasted a screen shot from her video because it was the first time I had ever seen it, or heard of the saying.  Screw the liberal media and run out and get anything Katy because the media has an agenda and the safety of America is not part of that agenda!  SCREW THEM ALL!!!!!

If you are a woman and are interested in getting away from some crappy situation in your life then check out The Corps because they will grab you by the heart and pull you away and show you that you owe nothing to anyone and you have the power to make a change…if you have the courage and the proverbial balls!   If you want to be a self made person and not be considered to be a subservient bitch….then go for it and make a change in your life.

Once you pin on that Eagle, Globe and Anchor…you will never look back.  You WILL leave the gender at the door and you will walk out a self-made, extremely strong individual.  If you are tired of listening to others control your life…..listen to the Katy Perry and make the change that will take you anywhere you choose to go!  The Corps makes no distinction between black, white, yellow or male or female.  If you want to make the change….then go for it.

Of course you have to make it through boot camp first and that is a different story.  That story is not an easy one, but then nobody ever said becoming, or being a Marine is easy to accomplish!
