My husband is small also. 5’4 and 125 lbs. I would recommend running alot. try putting some weights in a backpack and run with that. Get used to drinking alot of water, try not to drink soda or alcohol ( i know you are in highschool but you never know). Do push-ups and alot of pull-ups. sprints and crunches. Its important you build up your endurance because you will be hiking for miles with up to 80lbs of gear. there is alot of hiking and obsticals that require high endurance.
when you get past training and see the SF *special forces* guys you’ll actually see that they are tiny compared to front liners so your best bet is to go for SF but you’ll need to be in shape and that’s a bit of the way off before you qualify for SF
Just run and do basic calisthenics: push-ups, sit-ups, and chin-ups. Running was my worst nightmare; you really have to build up to it.
Run 3-5 times a week and work your way up to 3 miles minimum per run. Do the calisthenics on a daily basis and work up to 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups and 20+ chin-ups. Don’t forget to stretch out before and after each workout either; it will prevent pulled muscles.
If you want to work on your pull ups specifically here’s a good program:
